With the twins now walking, I’m finding a bunch of shoe piles in the evening. This one here taken with my new camera (!), partly the reason for my small hiatus. I’ve also been taking a “process/theory” break, learning and trying on techniques put out by David Nightingale. I’ve plucked out a few images that had obvious problems and tried to smooth them out using some of his tips and approaches. The inadvertent lesson I’ve picked up is learning what can’t be repaired no matter how savvy your post-processing skills are, and subsequently, how to avoid them. I’ll post some of the “process” images when I’m finished.
