Stoic and Stolid

A different shotgun house down the same backstretch of highway as most recent posts. This house I did not enter. The entries were too overgrown and it all looked a good wind or two away from collapse. In the far background were some oil tanks and pumps so I had to drop low to the ground to work them out the composition. Looking back, it may have been an interesting shot to include the juxtaposition of tanks and houses–the overgrown farm house depicting the era of long days in the sun working with hands in the dirt, and then the modern era in the background mechanically sucking and storing stuff from below all that dirt.
