Same bale, a little closer, a little later. But like the way this tired field looks, it’s been a long, tiring day, so short post tonight. I tried this one a few ways, but decided to roll with slightly underexposed exposure in the bracketed series.
This is great. It really does capture the feel of a long hard day. I have to admit to having ‘bale envy’ – we have lots of Barley and Wheat fields, a couple of which have been harvested – but no bales as yet. Farmers seem to be going for the plough back in method.
I imagine myself a woodchuck peeking around the corner of the bale to see if “all’s clear”. Beautiful.
I like it, it has a certain wind down feel/quality to it. Excellent

Thanks, and thanks for commenting. I checked out your blog and really enjoyed your agriculture and landscapes. What a great area to photograph!
