One of the first subjects I photographed frequently were horses, mainly because my father-in-law owns a horse farm. They were something interesting and in convenient abundance for me. Down the road, I’ve realized I picked a wonderful starting point as they are incredibly photographic. As a general subject, I feel like they compare to flowers minus the wide array of colors. They are steady, complex and are receptive to most any focal length.
If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, consider yourself flattered as I have blatantly copied your post today with one from the archives.
Ha!
This is an absolutely gorgeous photo. A very beautiful image indeed.
Well, you already know I’m apushover for these horse photos. 🙂
Beautiful. 🙂
