After the Storm

If you can’t tell, I’ve been into sunsets and sunrises lately, especially in the more twilight minutes.  The disorganized soup of clouds in this one are the remnants of Tropical Storm Lee over the Red River. We didn’t endure the deluge that New Orleans withstood, but we surely could have used it. I decided to frame in these pipes on this one. I’m not sure if these are to pump water out or in.

  1. I really like the colours you have caught during this sunset, very beautiful and in excellent contrast to the very unnatural metal pipes. Although the colours from the pipes do seem to mimic those of the water…nice

  2. I agree with Astra. The pipes in the foreground take the composition up a notch in impact & interest. Makes you take a second look and adds context.
