Port City Noir
I headed out to our annual arts festival tonight, the Red River Revel. For this year’s festival, there is a photography contest with the only rules being something of the festival and on the plaza grounds of the festival. Tonight’s visit was more of a scouting, but was also hoping to find something interesting for a long night exposure. No such dice. No worries though as the crowds were scant and had a good time moving from booth to booth checking out a wide variety of cultural and studio arts. In the food section, someone was selling “deep fried butter.” Pure culinary art in that one.
The picture above was taken on the way back to my car as I found a staircase hooking straight into the bridge ramp entering downtown.
