We don’t have many deciduous trees in this area or at least not many of those that undergo dramatic color shifts in autumn. Our leaves go from green to brown and then after the first winter storm, they are all on the ground in one fell swoop. Above are some of the few deciduous trees down by the river. I’ve been trying to steer from the “big” picture lately so instead of framing up sweeping landscape, I moved right into the trees and went for what was above. This one was taken around midday so the light was really pouring in from the top.
