Cascading Flamboyance

This one was taken about twenty-minutes after yesterday’s post. I wish, though, I would have done this more sweeping shot earlier to get those pastels tones from the filter. Oh well, that’s what keeps us going back for more. This one was a bit underexposed, but I liked the rich tones it picked up. In post, I applied a series of tone curve masks to even out the exposure, and then brighten up the foreground a bit. I’m thinking about bringing a bunch of glowsticks and dropping them into the pools next time.

  1. I like this one even better than yesterday’s image. I live the smoothness of the water in the pools especially where all those reflections are sitting. I think I like this better because it just opens up the scene. I like the rich dark tones too. Very cool!
